Level 3 Electrical Installation

The Level 3 Electrical Installation course, which will help you to develop a range of skills relevant to this industry whilst expanding your knowledge on scientific and mathematical understanding of electrical installation. This one-year course combines both theory and practical work, and will provide you with a good level of skills in this area. You will be taught by expert tutors, who will provide you with the support you need to be successful in this industry.

You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and/or maths, or you will need to have successfully completed the Level 2 course. If you have not already achieved a grade 4 in your either your GCSE English or maths and you wish to study at Level 3, you will be required to work towards achieving this as part of your qualification. Irrespective of your GCSE results, most students will start at level 1 and learn basic skills before progressing through the levels.

You will study a range of topics such as health and safety, principles of electrical science, practical testing and commissioning inspecting and testing, electrical knowledge, fault diagnosis and rectification, and practical wiring installation. *Irrespective of your GCSE results, all students will start at level 1 and learn basic skills before progressing through the course levels.
